Wallpapering these walls is a pain in the ass. But it's a HUGE improvement on the old wallpaper that was there. Took the wooden frames for the shades off the wall along with the shelving that was over the bed. Deciding if we're going to put the frames for the shades back up or not. The area looks a lot bigger and cleaner without them.

It's a lot of fun seeing your remodel progress. I've been considering what they call "paintable wallpaper" (aka lining paper) for the couch/chairs walls in my Concourse (which are now covered in the same fabric as the forward pillars). I tested a small area, and the fabric seems to come off pretty easily leaving a bare minimum of glue behind. Then the wood is just luaun. Which of course is all porous and bleah, as luaun typically is. So even though I'm not a big wallpaper fan, and just want painted walls, I figured the paintable wallpaper will be a good base for the paint. Then in the kitchen (where it is now the "built in" vinyl wallpaper board), I'll just paint to match.

Anyway, I have a question for you: I figured I'd remove the inside window clamp rings so that it would be easier to go around the windows and then the reinstalled rings would cover the edges. I don't expect the windows would fall out due to being clamped in with sealant (of course I wouldn't drive with the clamp rings off).

So, just wondering if you removed the clamp rings, and if so, how it went?

Blue, I didn't pull the frames on any Windows. I was going to but my wife said don't, she's a wizard with a razor blade and the wallpaper is super tight to the window, not sure how she does it haha.

Got the butcher block all lined up and test fitted the oven! Put a coat of sealer on the counter top to get the full picture, it's a shame I have to cut a sink into it, there's so much room like this haha

Thanks guys, we're getting excited to see the finished product! And to leave on our trip haha.

Sink and new faucet should be in today. Hoping to have the kitchen area and the wallpaper done by the weekend. That way we can spend our last weekend before we leave sorting out the rest of the build that's left (flooring,trim, finish painting, dinette, etc.) Still need to finish up the front end conversion too haha.

Oh yea also have to finish up the new cushions

Sink is cut in, took a gamble and offset the faucet! Hope the wife likes it haha

I feel lucky to have found a unit with the light maple cabinets as I prefer them to darker woods and they give the interior a brighter more open look IMO.
