After several months of improvements that were either directly copied or inspired by this forum, I thought I would only be proper to return something and make my own contribution to the terrific body of information here.
Storage is always at a premium, especially on RVs our size, and drawers are especially useful. For all the great packaging they did with the Chinook there are several places where space is wasted. One of the biggest I think was the space under the oven. It has the wheel hump under there and the space is hard to take full advantage of. I put a drawer there more than doubling the amount of drawer space in one shot. I still have space under the drawer so it was almost like more space at no cost.
I removed the original tube tv and VCR and just left the holes in the wall for a while. After a couple of camping trips I noticed I was using the VCR hole to store those little things that seem to clutter up the place (cell chargers, flashlights, batteries) so I figured, hey, I need another drawer! I also took the 12v connection for the VCR, drilled a hole and used it for a power plug, put a small shelf in the corner, and it became my cell phone charging station.
The other thing I did that I stole from someone here that worked out really well was I replaced the bathroom door with one of those pleated vinyl shower doors

It brightens up that part of the camper by letting the light from the bath vent shine through, I can now completely open the refrigerator door without having to remove the bathroom door, and I eliminated 30 pounds. That door and mirror were heavy!
