Chinook Baja question

Anyone know if Salem Kroger used a leaf spring or coil spring front end on the Chinook Baja 4x4 conversions?

I have only seen two Baja's in person and they both were the Salem Kroger conversion and both of them were coil springs. And I believe the Quadvan conversions were coil spring also.
