Trimark Deadbolt on Entry door

Post by BobNBarb »

Hi,
When we purchased our 2004 Premier last month, the dealer had no key to the deadbolt on the back entry door. We had one key that would unlock the bottom lock, but not the top lock. We called Trimark. Would have to remove the unit from interior side of door to find a model number and then they might or might not still make a replacement cylinder in order to get a key. We went to plan B. Called Curley's, a local locksmith in Vancouver, WA.
Took the Chinook to his location and he was able to very easily make an imprint of the lock and provide us with 2 working keys for $25. Such an easy fix to our problem. He used a blank ilco key with these numbers: 1609 TM9

Thanks for the info. I did not receive a key for my deadbolt and was wondering what was going to be involved (I figured a new cylinder). That gives me more to go on. I did get a matching-style key that operates none of my locks. I don't know where they got it or how it ended up with mine.
