It will be interesting to see what you come up with for raising the dump valves. Right now they are just at the bottom of the tanks (well, the bottom of the grey tank - the black tank sits above the grey tank). So gravity dumping won't allow raising them that I can see. But perhaps you could come up with a pump or macerator system that would pump the sewage uphill for dumping. That way you could have a smaller hose too (if you macerate).

Boats basically always have the pump out outlet way above the tanks (it's up on deck whereas the tanks are down low in the boat). However boat pump out stations are set up to... pump. In other words, they basically vacuum the cr-p up and out. But of course RV dump stations are based on gravity (unless one does the pumping/macerating setup onboard the RV).

PS: But then of course there is everything else that's basically at the same level: The rear steps, the trailer hitch (which is what I drag most often), and etc. So perhaps with a 6" lift, there is no point to moving the dump valves up, since you'd still have everything else that was at that level (and all of it will be 6" higher already).

I'd have to look again but I remember looking at it once and coming up with a plan. We'll see maybe a cant do much there, just worried about possibly breaking it on a trail, what a mess that would be.

Hey Doug - is that on the front or back of your rig? Where did you get this done and what are the components? Even if I can control ride height a smoother ride would be great.

I did it myself (use to be a mechanic) its on the rear. Its a kit manufactured by Reyco/Granning Corporation specifically for the E350.
You can control the ride height to a degree, simply shut off the compressor switch which is mounted on the dash and then flip the kneeler valve switch to exhaust air from the system, once its at the height you want just shut off the kneeler switch.
Its designed to maintain a constant ride height regardless of load on the vehicle, meaning you can hook a trailer on the back and the Chinook will still be at the same ride height it was prior to hooking it on. If its really windy out, i will exhaust air from the system to lower the rear. Beyond that i dont want to hijack this guys post, i posted on the forum when i installed the system as well as some pics and specifics. If you want to know more just message me.

Sounds like their leveling kit is exactly what you want. Gives you 1-2" in the front.

I've been considering the Moog CC880S coil springs. Supposedly good for 1.5-2 inches. Can't vouch, though.

Is this suspension done yet? How did it turn out? Did you have alignment issues? Have they been resolved?
