Re: Ground Clearance
Yea once I put the new tires on I'm going to look into something like that. Those flares for the rear probably won't fit the chinook rear arche shape.
Re: Ground Clearance
How does the truck handle now? Does it have any alignment issues?

Hi, Willy. I don't know if this thread just ended, or further messages went under another thread, but I'm wondering how the 6" lift came out, now that you've had it a year? Any issues, or things you had to fix or tweak? How's it handle on the highway compared to before? Dirt and gravel roads?
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Ground Clearance
Hi Bob, the lift is great and it rides so much smoother now. I haven't had any issues at all really and I've been cross country with it twice since the install. Was in Moab in December and it handled the dirt roads very well. overall I'm super happy with the lift.BobW9 wrote:Hi, Willy. Re: Ground Clearance
Did you end up going with the 255/80/17 all the way around? Happy with those? Could you Go bigger/wider? I was thinking of putting 285/75/16 on there but then I’d have to probably get wider wheels too and spacers on drw’s. Do the tires stick out past the fenders just a bit n the rear?
