1998 concourse front end alignment specs
1998 Concourse... am taking her in for a front end alignment early in the morning. I have searched all over the www to find the oem factory specs for my vehicle and have struck out. Does anyone know what the caster/camber,toe specs are for my vehicle?? I just want to have it to reference before I go to the shop in the morning. I swapped my 2 front tires and triple checked everything else and it still pulls to the left. Now is time to get it to the alignment shop. Oh, E-350 Ford with twin I-Beam suspension. Re: 1998 concourse front end alignment specs
The shop will have the specs. I'd start with the nominal factory numbers for toe and camber, and ask them to add at least +2 to the Ford caster spec. Adding caster might result in a slight increase in steering effort, but will add stability and improve self-centering. As already discussed, first make sure the tires are good, your wheels are true, the steering box/linkage is right, there's no obvious frame damage or signs of repair, and all of the suspension parts are sound. Before making any adjustments, a decent technician should be able to tell you why your rig is pulling, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Good luck!

Re: 1998 concourse front end alignment specs
Well, I just got back from the front end alignment and basically...they did nothing. It still pulls to the left although I did rotate the two front
tires back the way they were originally and it is a little better. Only adjustment they did was toe and that wasn't much. At least I did get to get under it and we inspected everything very well. Even wheel bearings and brakes so was glad to get that done. I am attempting to post before and after photos of the alignment readings. Maybe someone can tell what we're doing wrong. Picture #108 is oem spec sheet,...#109 was before adjustments,...#112 is after their final adjustment. Hope you can read it.
